About Kathy

Kathy King is a fine art photographer based in the Coachella Valley of Southern California, where the desert light paints extraordinary scenes at dawn and dusk. With a Nikon Z-system in hand, Kathy has traveled from the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park to the Masai Mara in Kenya, capturing moments that reveal the quiet drama of the natural world. Her images are defined by patience — the willingness to wait for the light, the stillness, and the perfect instant when a landscape or creature tells its story.

Beyond her personal work, Kathy runs a thriving real estate photography practice, bringing the same eye for composition and light to architectural and interior spaces. This dual practice keeps her craft sharp and her perspective fresh.

All fine art prints are produced in-house in the USA on archival materials — from luminous HD metal and acrylic to museum-quality canvas and fine art papers. Each piece is crafted to bring the same depth and presence you feel standing in front of the original scene.
